Kings Mountain & Boiling Springs Input

CrimeStoppers Chairman Gary Staymate said it would be difficult to determine the exact impact of CrimeStoppers on a community, specifically in Shelby, but it along with many other crimefighting efforts have played a part in the falling crime rates.

Andrews and Staymate discussed how more input is needed from Kings Mountain and both KM and Boiling Springs have expressed interest in participating more.

Staymate said he had spoken with BS Police Chief Marty Thomas about starting a Campus CrimeStoppers for Gardner-Webb University.
