Kings Mountain Haunted House (w/ Halloween Music)

*Temporarily took the music out for the time being*

This is one of the first things you'll see when you walk into Terror on the Tracks - the Halloweenized Joy Performance Center in downtown Kings Mountain. A pitch dark hallway as panicked screams are heard far off in the distance.

And then you get to thinking, "Um ... maybe I should leave now."

I spent Friday night going through the haunted house with fellow Star reporters Cherish and Drew. Here they are after barely surviving the experience.

(Cherish cheated by using her cell phone light to quickly find the exits as we went room-to-room.)

Here's Chucky, who will meet you at the door and kindly advise you not to go inside.

It was a good time and you can tell organizers put a lot of time and effort into the haunted house. Hoping to check out some more haunted houses leading up to Halloween.

It was not cheating. It was self preservation. Seriously, it was a great time. Just scary enough...
