Jefferson Spaghetti Dinner

This was taken just a few minutes ago during the 28th Annual Jefferson Spaghetti Supper at Shelby High.
Jefferson School PTO President Allen Langley said about $8,000 was raised during last year's event.
"We're hoping for the same money (this year)," Langley said, via sponsors and tickets sold for the supper at $5 and $6 apiece.
The funds are directed to wherever needs are at the school, he said.
PTO Vice-President Jennifer Niblack said 240lbs of spaghetti noodles were brought in for the dinner, enough for 1,200 people. In addition, 100 loaves of bread and 240lbs of salad were also available.
"It's good," Robert Ledbetter said of the supper as he ate with his wife Kim.
The couple said they heard about it through The Star and thought it would be a convenient place to eat before Friday's football game.
