Elly May Clampett visits KMHS

You probably wouldn't know her by her real name but the hair, the whistle that could clear a room, and the tomboy attitude would give it away.

Donna Douglas, known for her role as Elly May Clampett in The Beverly Hillbillies, gave an inspirational talk to a packed crowd of Kings Mountain High students Tuesday.

"Don't get kissy-faced too fast," she told the class in a moment that had much of the room errupting in laughter.
