Crime Scene Investigation

The purpose of crime scene investigation is to locate physical evidence that places the victim, suspect, or witnesses at the scene of the crime

How Police Document the Crime Scene
Notes
Sketches
Photographs
Videos
Measurements
Diagrams
Report


Items Used for Evidence Collection
Bags
Boxes
Cotton Swabs
Metal cans
Tape
Evidence vaccum


Evidence Collection
All items collected should be logged
Care should be taken with DNA evidence to prevent cross contamination
Items collected for latent print examination or processing should be bagged separately
Control samples should be collected when origin is questioned

I sure hope this "Crime scene" wasn't THE CSI session that's supposed to be on Oct 25. Please let me know! Also, next week is traffic, and I am wondering if Michael Myers is going to be there. Do you know?

I think it probably was. I didn't expect CSI to be part of yesterday's class so I'm guessing there was some rearranging there.
I would guess Myers will be there if he can.
