Description: Amelia Heath, an employee, told police she had received a photo in a text message of a man’s penis. She said she did not recognize the phone number from which it was sent and that it came from a 901 area code. She said she called the number back and left a voice mail. The sender’s first name was said to be Ryan.

Crime: Obtaining property by false pretenses

Address: Lowes, 425 Earl Road, Shelby
Description: George Beam, of South Elm Street, said someone had obtained a Lowes credit card in his name and put $2,000 worth of merchandise on the card. Beam told officers his identity has been used before in Cherryville.

Description: Tanya Howell told police someone took over $900 in cash from the restaurant’s kitchen since July 24.
