Charles Road Wreck

Here are photos from a wreck at Charles Road and U.S. 74. at around 6 p.m.

Shelby Police Officer Michael Myers said only the two drivers were inside the cars at the time of the collision. Myers said the wreck was caused when the silver Toyota Echo ran a red light and crashed head-on into the green Lexus.

Both drivers were taken to CRMC for treatment, he said, and a complete wreck report would be available Saturday.
