Out and About in DC
Caught the metro up to Rosslyn, Va. earlier to have lunch with fellow Radford University '05 graduate, Bryan McBournie.
Bryan and I both worked for the college paper, The Tartan. In fact he was the editor of the editorial section back when I was a weekly columnist.
He recently grabbed a reporting job with SNL Energy in Arlington.
(He doesn't really look like that, I told him to cheese it up)
Stopped by Pentagon City Mall on the way back (which, oddly enough, is right next to the Pentagon).
More crowded than Shelby's Wal-Mart after church...
I did buy something, but for the sake of the joke I'll say the only thing I got was claustrophobic.
