Cleveland County Crime Map

UPDATED: 12/6/07

You're going to need to really play around with the map controls this week, considering how many incidents and arrest reports I picked up from Shelby and Kings Mountain police and the sheriff's office. Zoom in as much as possible so you can really tell where things are going on. Wal-Mart seems to be the popular place to steal around the holiday season. No surprise there.

These are incidents and arrests that were recently on file with local law enforcement agencies. Those arrested are innocent until found guilty in a court of law. (M) refers to misdemeanor crimes, (F) refers to felonies.

Addresses are in Shelby unless otherwise noted.

If you have any information regarding any of these incidents, contact Shelby Police at (704) 484-6845, the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office at (704) 484-4888, Kings Mountain Police at (704) 734-0444, or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at (704) 481-TIPS (8477).
