Fatal Stabbing

This is 401 Piedmont Avenue, where a 39-year-old mother, Tammy Simon, was stabbed to death Thursday evening.

Her husband, Frank Simon, was arrested for the crime hours later in Gaston County.

Neighbors weren't talkative Friday afternoon but I did take these photos of the home. The second is taken from the driveway, showing just how close it is to North Shelby School.
