PSN Meeting Next Monday

Received this e-mail earlier today from PSN Coordinator Frank Cloyd.

To everyone,

Our regular monthly PSN MEETING will be MONDAY NOV. 26, 6 PM at CENTRAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in the Fellowship Hall in the church basement. Please park in the parking lot at the rear of the church, and come in the back door. I will have signs directing you to the Fellowship Hall. Central United Methodist Church is located at the corner of Marion St. and Washington St. in Uptown Shelby.

Jeff Ledford will present the latest information from Shelby Police Dept. Thanks to all of you our PSN target area is safer than it has been in 12 years. The big effort now is to repopulate our area with law-abiding citizens, and to establish a solid community. There is much to look forward to in PSN for 2008. Improvement to housing and infrastructure; increased church activities; and plans for other facilities.

Monday night, we will discuss renovating houses that New Jerusalem, and Hoppers Chapel own, supporting Habitat for Humanity and their new ReStore on Grover St. We will begin framing the issues, and raising any questions, concerns about housing for our January meeting with officials.
Hope to see all of you at our PSN MEETING MONDAY NOV. 26, 6 PM at CENTRAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.

Happy Thanksgiving! Please come tonight to the Greater Shelby Thanksgiving Service, Tuesday, November 20, 7:00 PM. Location: Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, 510 West Sumter St., Shelby (behind Shelby Middle School). This will be a joint service with many of Shelby's churches participating. The Reverend Jerry Webb, pastor of Roberts Tabernacle Church, will deliver the message. Music will be performed by area church groups. Last year, there was standing room only at this service; so come early to get a seat!

Thanks,
Frank
